I'm watching Zigler v Morrison and i've seen two moves new to me and i've been watching wrestling since the late 80's. Zigler's counter to the hip toss and morrison's counter to the mercy-grip-heel-cheapshot. The second counter less new but used smartly.. Ok so it ended in a countout.. The point im bringing up is the new crop seem to have some interesting spins on old moves and i wonder who is responsible for this, the wrestler(s) or developmental or creative. Maybe your collective insight could give your opinions??
Tommy,
Morrison specifically is simply amazing athletically and Ziggler is not far behind him. Â I think they both are out to truly innovate!

TNA has just changed channels and time in the UK from cable on saturdays to a freeview channel on fridays at 9pm. Â This will put up against smackdown and in almost every home country were as wwe is on the sports channel on saterlite. TNAÂ ratings here have been good and now i think impact should easly beat smackdown and maybe even raw. Do you think the same tactic of getting in as many homes as possible could work in the us or even world wide. thanks love the show.
Darrell,
I think TNA needs to be strategic in their approach here in the states. Â They seem to really want to restart the Monday Night War, but I am not sure they are ready for that. Â However, the TNA Loyal will certainly do all they can to spread the word about Impact if it were to happen, so maybe it could work.

Big fan, been watching the all the shows on youtube and now subscriber. Â In my opinion, the definite way for the WWE to be more successful is to stop the brand roster and have everyone now fight on each shows. Â In my opinion, the seperation of the roster just down plays the superstars and the wwe/world heavyweight title seems to be a "here its your turn" thing and also breaking up the brands split up the tag teams. Â Now i know that dont really have alot but at least if it was all combined, there would be more tag teams against each other and dont have to see the same fights over and over and over, and it would seem then that there would be effort to win the tag team titles. Â Same concepts goes for the world heavyweight title, if all the elite actually fought each other to work up the ladder instead of saying your turn, it would show more work. Â Another thing that would make it successful is that there would be an opportunity to actually make REAL factions, c'mon DX only two members rather than having 5 like back in the day. Â Big factions should equal big bucks. Â The last thing i want to say or actually ask is will the wwe every make Shelton Benjamin jump up to the elite, he is a multi-time intercontinental/U.S. champ and multi-time tag champ, i believe he needs to be pushed up finally. Â He is an impressive athlete after all.
Jason,
Well made points! Â WWE continues to view the brand extension as successful and they have got data to back that up. Â It will not change anytime soon, but remember that without the extension, there probably would not be as many stars at the top of the card right now and the up and comers on ECW.
